Fun Times at Mountain View
Dance Revolution Rocks Mountain View Campus
By: Julia Avila
Dance is one of Mountain View’s after-school activities. We work 1 hour and 15 minutes every Friday. Mrs. Carlson oversees every practice. Dance Revolution has been working on new dances to perform for rallies, the Talent Show, and even after-school fundraisers, like Taco Night. Makenzie Neves is our wonderful dance instructor, and she choreographs most of our dances with the help of students. The girls have been adding all of their ideas and moves to our current dance. The girls like to incorporate hip hop or jazz moves into the choreography based on our song choice. Dance is a lot of work, but the girls always have fun doing it!

Students at Mountain View are lucky to have many health-focused outlets: from Yoga Classes after school to Dance Revolution after school. Then, there are the Soccer Tournaments at lunchtime and School Dances on Friday evenings. Whew! What a way to work out together and have fun!
