6th and 7th Grade Basketball
By: Cameron Machado
Sixth and seventh grade boys did their best in basketball. They built a firm foundation as a team and now know what they need to work on for next year. Most importantly, they had fun!
They need more basketball players to try out next year, so if you ever had a desire to be a part of a team and improve your athletic skill...

Pats for the Win!
By: Angel Mendoza The super bowl was a nail-biting game! Even though I was rooting for the Patriots, I had a feeling that the Seahawks where going to take the win. It was an intense game from the beginning, touchdown after touchdown. The patriots were playing wonderful defense which made the Seahawks struggle a bit, but then Russell Wilson threw a long ball to the rookie Chris Matthews. He caught it! I was stunned by how much yard that catch put them ahead. I watched a little more and then Russell played the same play, another catch by Matthews! I kept watching the rest of the Super Bowl, and it just kept getting more intense as the game went on. Russell Wilson, at the 1 yard line, down by 4, and running out of time, decided to throw the ball. I jumped out of my seat when I saw Malcolm Butler, #21 from the Patriots, intercept Russell’s pass. The game was almost over -The Pats took a couple knees and the game was over! The Patriots won 28-24 with Tom Brady as the man of the match. Super Bowl XLIX
By Rafael Ramirez After a very exciting game, Seattle Seahawks lost to the New England Patriots. The Seahawks were not having their best game. On the other side, the Patriots were having one of the best games in their season. Tom Brady, Patriot’s quarterback, was completing all the passes, unlike Russell Wilson, Seahawk’s quarterback. The Patriots’ defense did not let him unleash the real beast he is. After halftime, the teams were tied 14-14; however, the Seahawks had a 10 point lead by the end of 3rd quarter. The Patriots, however, rallied to take a 28-24 lead with roughly 2 minutes left in the game. Unbelievable! (Notice: 2 different articles = 2 different perspectives) |
